CELEBRATING 60 YEARS OF LIFE!!

 

 

Look at Tresca Susan Trent, born November 11, 1958! I was around eight months old in this picture, teething and toddling! And, just think of how innocent I was without a care in the world. I wasn’t aware of the journey I would encounter with its pain, pleasures, sadness, and joys. I couldn’t imagine the adventures my Papa and Lord Jesus had prepared for us in this life. I stand in awe of their love and grace for me who has brought me thus far! So, as I reflect on my 60 years of life, I want to share some awesome discoveries I have made in this blog.

 

TRIALS AND AFFLICTIONS HAVE TAUGHT ME

  

• Before I arrived on planet earth, the enemy of my soul, the devil, hated me and all of humanity, because we were loved and adored by our Lord and Papa. He sought to destroy me and others by any means necessary. (sin, the flesh, the world’s system, sexual abuse, physical abuse, death, lies, fear, trauma, sickness, disease, drugs, alcohol, enemies, people, family members, etc)

 

• What the enemy meant for evil, my Papa and Lord Jesus use it for our good.

 

• The sufferings, trials, afflictions, sins, failures, and challenges in my life came to: 

 

1. To Teach Me – about who I am In Christ and who He is WITHIN ME… Will I TRUST Him or not?

 

 

2. To Expose the Flesh – the ways I have managed my life on my own without depending or fully trusting the Lord with my life and circumstances. Also, the ways I have gotten my needs met without Christ by performing, pleasing, appeasing, conforming, and depending on the flesh’s wisdom and guidance, and others, more than His.

 

 

3. To Humble Me – the flesh and knowledge puff me up and make me think I am more important than others or better than others because I know more… which is a lie. I discovered lies and knowledge are ways to hide the insecurities and weaknesses of my humanity. My Lord created my weaknesses so I will always depend on Him and get help from others.

 

 

4. To Purify Me – my soul has been so enmeshed with the flesh, trials and hard circumstances cause me to cry out to my Lord for His wisdom and grace. I must choose to obey the Lord or the flesh. To discipline me, I  repeated many trials over and over again, until there was no murmuring, pouting, or complaining. Murmuring, pouting, or complaining are the voices of fear and unbelief, which our Lord doesn’t like.

 

 

5. To Grace Me – when I am weak, confused, or feel inadequate is really when I am strong in the Lord when I choose to draw from His power and might within me.

 

 

6. To Reveal Christ Within Me – through adversities, pain, struggles, disappointments, horrendous sickness, and emotional anguish is only when I began to see and experience the intimacy of Christ I had longed for all of my life. He was revealing who He is (my strength, healer, provider, protector, resting place, wisdom, and my ALL in ALL). He was also teaching me to look away from ALL that distracted me to Him alone and to REST in His loving arms!

 

MY FATHER (PAPA) HAS TAUGHT ME

 

• I was born because of my Papa’s, Lord Jesus, and Holy Spirit’s idea. They said, “Let us make Tresca in our image and likeness.” I am my Papa’s child! I was born because of the Holy Trinity’s Divine Purpose and Plan and never the plan of my father and mother; in their eyes, I wasn’t planned… only a mistake.

 

• Salvation was my turning from sin, the flesh, and the world to get my needs met, then giving my Lord Jesus FULL access back into my spirit and soul which were His in the beginning. “ALL THINGS were created by Him and for Him, and nothing that exists that wasn’t His already.” Colossians 1:16

 

• I am my Father’s child, Loved and Adored completely!  And, I am the Beloved Bride of my Lord Jesus Christ. There is nothing I could ever do or not do for Them not love me FULLY AND COMPLETELY!

 

• I was created to allow the Lord, my Papa, and Holy Spirit to express themselves IN AND THROUGH ME, that’s why they put the Kingdom of God WITHIN ME where they live. And in this AWESOME KINGDOM WITHIN ME, is the Fullness of the Godhead! A beautiful treasure in an earthen vessel!

 

MY LORD JESUS AND HOLY SPIRIT HAVE TAUGHT ME

 

• The Kingdom of God WITHIN ME is MY FATHER’S HOUSE, HOME, MY MANSION!

 

• The Kingdom of God WITHIN ME is FULL of the RICHES OF CHRIST… I MUST DRAW FROM HIM, MY SOURCE OF LIFE!

 

• The Kingdom of God WITHIN ME is FULL of the LUSCIOUS FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT… LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, GOODNESS, FAITH, TEMPERANCE, ETC, THEY ARE MINE TO ACCESS AND ENJOY!!

 

• The Kingdom of God WITHIN ME is FULL of the POWER AND GRACE OF GOD every moment, forever!

 

• The Kingdom of God WITHIN ME is FULL of TRUTH AND LIFE!

 

• The Kingdom of God WITHIN ME is FULL of LOVE AND LIGHT, AND THERE IS NO FEAR OR DARKNESS IN IT EVER!

 

I AM HOME NOW! When I die, I will take off my earth-suit but the Kingdom of God WITHIN ME LIVES FOREVER! I AM SEATED WITH CHRIST IN A HEAVENLY PLACE… BOTH NOW AND FOREVER! Ephesians 2:6

 

All of my life I searched for love and a place where I belong… and I found HOME in THE KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN ME WHERE MY PAPA, MY LORD JESUS, AND MY HOLY SPIRIT FOREVER ABIDE!
